You are an 18 year old merchant's daughter living in Christian 17th century Scotland during the witch trial craze. You discover that your friend of many years is a witch. She has the ability to cast spells (e.g. transfiguration, charms, illusions etc.) of varying power and unless killed will remain young forever and maintain an immunity to illness. The older a witch gets the more powerful they become, with spells initially being weak but gradually increasing in power. She extends you an invite into her coven. Should you accept, you will gain access to the same powers.
